You will only need to crimp on some terminal ends to complete your wiring job. We can also put together a wiring clip kit to complete your wiring job, just tell us the year you are working on if you don’t see the clip kit in our store or cimarroncycleworks. This will take the soldering work out of installing your new harness if you are not confident in your soldering skills in re-wiring your switches. This harness is correct for use with the new seat post terminal box introduced in 1948 and the terminal plate under the tin on the Hydra-Glide front end and the single wire horn button is used with the Delco 16 horns which ground through their mount to the frame as well as the Jubilee horn in 1954 only. Starting in 1955, H-D used a two wire horn button on the big twin. We sell a kit for that as well. We do sell a wiring kit for you 1948 Panhead owners which is all the correct wires for the spring forks which you would also use if you have one of the rare 1949 springer Panheads. This is everything you need from nose to tail to wire your bike. We also sell the harness by itself, the dimmer and horn switches, as well as complete wiring clip kits to finish out your installation.
