Standalone “plug & play” wiring harness to run the BMW 3.0 – 2.5 (M57) & 2.0 (M47) diesel engines. Looms available for both types of ECU’s. (Early 5 plug – Later 2 plug). This listing is for a loom that will fit the later 2 plug ECU’s found in the E46, E60’s, X5’s etc… From 2004 onwards, check my other listings if you require a 5 plug style loom. Your M57’s engine wiring will have 1 large oval shaped plug which plugs into your ecu, the standalone wiring loom which also plugs into your ecu replaces your donor vehicles body side of the wiring meaning you don’t need to keep the whole wiring loom from your donor vehicle. The standalone wiring loom makes for a much cleaner engine conversion and will allow you to get your M57 up and running within minuets. The loom has the following. ECU plug which plugs directly into your BMW ecu and replaces the original BMW body loom. Choice of BMW, land rover Tdci/puma & MK8 transit throttle pedal plug. OBD plug (for diagnostics). Its has an output wire for an RPM gauge. Compatible with auto and manual gearboxes (comes with canbus high and low wires for auto gearbox’s). Designed for use with a de-immobilised ecu which I can assist with too. (check my other listings). V’s, sprinters and even boats Etc… The M57 is an increasingly popular engine swap.
