Adapter cable with a built in Fakra to DIN antenna adapter for Vauxhall cars with quadlock connectors to a standard ISO connector for fitting an aftermarket head unit. ISO adapter harness for Vauxhall vehicles with quadlock connectors at the back of the radio. This adapter harness is designed to adapt from the original quadlock style connector in the dashboard to a standard aftermarket ISO connector to allow the fitting of a new radio. This lead has a built in CANbus interface which provides a key present ignition power supply. A key present ignition supply will generate an ignition feed to turn the head unit on with the first position of the key, the interface will continue to give an ignition feed to the radio when the key is turned back to the off position, the ignition feed stops only when the key is then removed from the ignition barrel. A Fakra to DIN phantom powered antenna adapter is included and wired into the adapter harness. Built in CANbus interface provides plug and play ignition feed. This lead is required to fit an aftermarket stereo to your vehicle. It will adapt your vehicle’s wiring to a standard ISO connection which is used on the aftermarket unit. The one end will be the plug to receive the factory fitted audio loom and the other end will be ISO power and speaker blocks to fit into an after-market ISO female plug that comes from most after-market head units. For a lot of modern vehicles come fitted with a single source factory radios which are CANBUS based. When you want to change these out for an after-market radio, you come up against the issue of them not having an ignition power supply in the factory audio harness for the new after-market radio to work with, as the new radio is dual source. This cables removes all of that as it includes a little CAN decoder box which will provide an ignition supply from the cars CAN bus data system when the key is in the accessory position, which makes it easy to fit and plug and play.
