It will adapt your vehicle’s wiring to a standard ISO connection which is used on the aftermarket unit. The one end will be the plug to receive the factory fitted audio loom and the other end will be ISO power and speaker blocks to fit into an after-market ISO female plug that comes from most after-market head units. For a lot of modern vehicles come fitted with a single source factory radios which are CANBUS based. When you want to change these out for an after-market radio, you come up against the issue of them not having an ignition power supply in the factory audio harness for the new after-market radio to work with, as the new radio is dual source. This cables removes all of that as it includes a little CAN decoder box which will provide an ignition supply from the cars CAN bus data system when the key is in the accessory position, which makes it easy to fit and plug and play.
