This will take the soldering work out of installing your new harness if you are not confident in your soldering skills in re-wiring your switches. This harness is correct for use with the new seat post terminal box introduced in 1948 and the terminal plate under the tin on the Hydra-Glide front end. We do sell a wiring kit for you 1948 Panhead owners which is all the correct wires for the spring forks which you would also use if you have one of the rare 1949 springer Panheads.
