Pulling up on the bridge pickups tone control changes the neck pickups wiring to out of phase. This gives another four sonic possibilities with both pickups selected i. Bridge/phase + neck (bridge tone control up). Bridge/phase + neck Single Coil Split (bridge tone control up, bridge volume control up). Bridge Single Coil Split/phase + bridge (bridge tone and volume controls up). Bridge Single Coil Split/phase + bridge Single Coil Split (bridge tone and volume controls, and neck volume control, up). Although youd expect a phase change to sound different only if both the neck and bridge pickups are selected, the Single Coil Split allows for one more option. This 2019 version of the Harness includes Treble Bleed circuits. What does that mean – well. When you turn down the volume control on a vintage guitar, the tone changes too. The treble frequencies are attenuated, and the tone becomes somewhat dull. This is addressed on this version adding Treble Bleed circuit. This way you can maintain a better tone (less high frequency loss) even when you play subtle parts. We are the only suppliers of this part in the US. Note – Some manufacturing dates may show late 2018 – the harness was not released for sale until 2019 though – You will recognize a true Treble bleed harness by the added components which you will not find on the older designs. Note – installing the phase shift on the neck position instead is easily done – and will change the sonic table of options accordingly. I recommend providing a residential address, that way you are certain it will not get lost on the workplace :o.
