The neck and bridge pickups work in series to provide a more powerful humbucker like tone. You can use this position for stronger rhythm and screaming leads. Your Telecaster will retain all of the traditional switch positions, and the familiar master tone and volume controls. 1: Neck & Bridge in Series. 2: Neck 3: Neck & Bridge in Parallel. To make your tone crystal clear at lower volumes we also include an Obsidian. Custom Spec Treble Bleed Mod. This prevents tone’muddiness’ at low volumes by allowing high frequencies to pass along a separate path to your amp, rather than being stopped short by the increasing resistance at the volume control. (+/-10%) – Solid Shaft 1/4. (150 Series Polyester Film 0.022UF). Japanese Fender & Squiers. Genuine Fender USA control plate and new 1/4 knobs or Obsidian. Aftermarket control plates will NOT fit. We recommend a genuine Fender control plate – Part Number. Use US spec 1/4 Solid shaft controls. We recommend that you check your knobs are the correct size and replace them if necessary. We cannot guarantee that these will fit any other guitar. This is an easy mod & we provide the instructions and wire to do the job but it does require a solder joint.
