97-01 Banshee DC coversion. Hello and thank you for reading. Heres what we have in this listing. This is a 97-01 Banshee harness set up for DC conversion. It includes a battery that will fit under your seat in the small tool box. The tool box cover will latch securing it inplace. I use a Trail tech regulator on this setup. I shorten the wires to the proper length and put conectors on it to make it 100% plug and play. Different series connectors are used to prevent it from being hooked up improperly. Battery wiring is color coded for ease of hookup. The voltage regulator bolts on in the stock location using original bolts. It nees to be mounted with the wires exiting closest to the CDI (just like the stock one). This harness is completly plug and play. Banshee electrical systems are AC voltage. Lots of us like to upgrade the lighting on our Banshees to LED. While you can get away using LED lights on the AC system, lots of times they dont last a long time. The most annoying thing is the low idle flicker. The Banshee just doesnt produce enough voltage at low idle to power the LED. With this DC sytem you will be able to safely power LED lights, whips, add accent lights that serve the purpose of making your bike look sick at night and also providing light should you have trouble on the trail. All this with the engine off! Want to run whips or “parking lights” out on the dunes at night so you can be seen while chillin with the homies? You can do it with this setup. This is a basic 97-01 harness. I can do any year, and add or remove anything you like. Just message me to customize your own harness. When you open your door you will see a harness from the fender area that plugs into your door. This harness installs in that area and plugs into the door to repair the broken wires. The front door harness on 97-01 Honda CR-Vs can have broken wires and bad connections which will give you many different problems. The common result of a broken door harness is. This is a NEW custom 97-01 harness. No electrical tape here guys, what was Yamaha thinking!! ?? This harness in housed in 3M heat shrink front to back. Uses OEM quality connectors and uses a little bit thicker gauged wire than OEM for better conductivity. Before you spend a few more dollars on a new OEM harness take a good look at it and keep these things in mind. They will have at least 5 unused. On them if you have done a TORS or park brake delete. The wire is a smaller gauge. They are wrapped in thin electrical tape and are more vulnerable to heat and wear. Why replace your used up harness with another junker? This Harness has NO TORS and retains all the other functions including.. 97-2001 with 3GG-10 CDI. Stock length wiring harness. Fits 3GG-10 CDI box clear rectangular 6pin plug and white 4pin square plug. Headlights high beam/low beam. Housed in 3M Heat shrink, offers more protection, yet still. This is a direct replacement if you are looking to clean up the look of your bike by removing to TORS wiring as well as the park brake wiring.
