Made by Epiphone, Improved by Scrinia Engineering. Adding Phase shifting pot on the Bridge Tone – provides Many more sonic options. This gives another four sonic possibilities with both pickups selected i. Bridge/phase + neck (bridge tone control up). Bridge/phase + neck Single Coil Split (bridge tone control up, bridge volume control up). Bridge Single Coil Split/phase + bridge (bridge tone and volume controls up). Bridge Single Coil Split/phase + bridge Single Coil Split (bridge tone and volume controls, and neck volume control, up). Although youd expect a phase change to sound different only if both the neck and bridge pickups are selected, the Single Coil Split allows for one more option. We have decided to install the S/P pot on the neck position as it gives the best tonal result in our opinion – but you are free to play “guitarist LEGO’s” with the pots- you can place them however you like phas switch on neck or bridge Tone positions or the other way around – FIND YOU OWN SOUND!! If you want you can even ask us for 2 serial/parallel pots – that way you will be able to… Well you get the picture – both neck and bridge in series, one in series the other in parallel etc-etc-etc…. We know what the phase shift does – it shifts the phase giving a narrow scooped sound. The Serial Parallel option gives other sonic options. When you switch the 2 coils of the humbucker in parallel mode results in a lower inductance than in series mode. This changes the frequency response of the humbucker to a more wide frequency response – i. We therefore feel it fits the neck position Humbucker best – but hey! You be the judge and swap it around as you like. This 2019 version of the Harness includes Treble Bleed circuits. What does that mean – well. When you turn down the volume control on a vintage guitar, the tone changes too. The treble frequencies are attenuated, and the tone becomes somewhat dull. This is addressed on this version adding Treble Bleed circuit. This way you can maintain a better tone (less high frequency loss) even when you play subtle parts. We are the only suppliers of this part in the US. Note – Some manufacturing dates may show late 2018 – the harness was not released for sale until 2019 though – You will recognize a true Treble bleed harness by the added components which you will not find on the old designs. I recommend providing a residential address, that way you are certain it will not get lost on the workplace :o.
