I have modify a new EW 7975 harness for a battery in the seat post to get rid that the ugly Di2 battery on the frame. If you’re building a new Di2 bike this is a clean way to finish off the build. This kit includes a internal modified harness, seat post battery, 2 grommets, 4 shrink sleeve, plug removal tool, and harness. Please indicate size and type of frame at checkout. This modified version can be custom build to any buyers special. Special hard to fit frames like some Look, Cervelo, Felt. And any custom frame… Just tell me what length for any section and I’ll make it. DOES NOT REQUIRE YOU TO REMOVE THE SEAT POST TO RECHARGE THE BATTERY! It charges through the harness via. FD/RD(4pin) harness plug, it can also charge any standard Shimano battery without removing the battery, so if you have another bike with the standard Di2 battery you can charge with this charger as well. Put the seat post back in the bike, and your ready to ride. Seat post not included. Battery can only be charged through the harness! Your kit will arrive soon and the battery is fully charged, but some time next year it will need to be recharged please follow these instructions, and always remember to unplug both front and rear derailleurs when charging just to be safe. Plug the charger plug into the front junction plug of the harness if your charger plug has 5 pins, if it has 4 pins it plugs into the rear derailleur. Simply remove your complete OEM pickguard, cut the wires to the output socket and bridge claw ground at the pot’s, drop in the new Rhoadhouse pickguard, clip the three wires you just cut to the solderless connector, screw down the pickguard, re-string, tune, and away you go, job done! How easy is that! NB : As with all my hardware, I keep nothing’on the shelf,’ it is ALL, without exception, handbuilt to order. That way, if you, the customer, have any specific alterations you may like to request, they can be incorporated into the build. This is hand built custom hardware, NOT mass-produced factory OEM, and as such it MAY sometimes take a little longer to dispatch than I would prefer, especially during busy and Holiday periods, so your patience and understanding would be greatly appreciated. ALL Axesrus pickups are hand-wound in their own workshop here in the UK, not rebadged Artek hardware from Korea. I can honestly say their work is unbeatable at any price, and their Customer Service is second to none. It is a standard’64 onwards template, which will fit 99% of American and MiM bodies, and the screw holes will all line up: on many Strat- style bodies (including the Bullet/Affinity range) not all of the holes will line up, so you’ll have to make some new ones… Anything more than that, you’re laughing, anything less and you’d need to remove some wood – something I have no problem with myself, but not everyone wants to do that, so make sure you get a steel rule in there before you order The neck cut-out is standard Fender Strat, so if you were fitting this to a Fender Strat- style body with a slightly wider heel you would have to file it to fit. It’s also a measure of just how much confidence I have in my own work. It is no idle boast to say you could fit this to a cheap’n’cheerful budget Strat. Copy and it would knock spots off any Squier, MiM/MiJ Fender, and many a Fender USA costing significantly more than what it would cost you to find this out for yourself! So, reassuringly expensive this may be but if you consider just what you are getting for your hard-earned cash, then you’ll suss you’re actually looking at a pretty shrewd investment. Yes, I’ll freely admit I’m biased but you won’t find a better setup at many times the price… However, I make no provision for Import Duty, etc, so these are entirely the Customers own responsibilty where incurred.
