This is a NEW custom 97-01 harness. No electrical tape here guys, what was Yamaha thinking!! ?? This harness in housed in 3M heat shrink front to back. Uses OEM quality connectors and uses a little bit thicker gauged wire than OEM for better conductivity. Before you spend a few more dollars on a new OEM harness take a good look at it and keep these things in mind. They will have at least 5 unused. On them if you have done a TORS or park brake delete. The wire is a smaller gauge. They are wrapped in thin electrical tape and are more vulnerable to heat and wear. Why replace your used up harness with another junker? This Harness has NO TORS and retains all the other functions including.. 97-2001 with 3GG-10 CDI. Stock length wiring harness. Fits 3GG-10 CDI box clear rectangular 6pin plug and white 4pin square plug. Headlights high beam/low beam. Housed in 3M Heat shrink, offers more protection, yet still. This is a direct replacement if you are looking to clean up the look of your bike by removing to TORS wiring as well as the park brake wiring. You will receive the Harness in the pictures, be sure the connections are correct for your application. All connections are labeled in the pictures. Cheap electrical tape like your trying to replace, or quality heat shrink that offers TONS more protection? What kind of connections are being used? The cheap China connectors found on 35.00 stators? Or genuine connectors as found on an OEM harness that i use? Have a close look at the connections. Do Yamaha harnesses come with multi colored wire seals? No they do not. You will clearly see imperfections, missing wire seals, seals not all the way in etc…. What do you see, quality craftsmanship. Are you deleting your TORS? You will be fighting the same battle with you were with your old harness, what to do with all the unused plugs?? Are you using your parking brake? In an assembly line. 3 There will no electrical tape wrapped harness from me, i only use high Quality 3M heat shrink on all of my harnesses. 5 Your harness will have 100% oxygen free copper wire that will not tarnish or corrode in the elements. 6 It just looks sooo much better! Alot of us want a new harness solely for cosmetic purposes, to make our banshee look cleaner, why put on what you took off? Just remember you get what you pay for, you will NOT be disappointed with my harness. One last thing you may be wondering.. What if you want a new harness but are not deleting TORS?
