Hand wired Gibson SG harness perfect to upgrade an Epiphone or similar. Using CTS 500k audio taper potentiometers. Sprague orange drop 0.022uf capacitors. Switchcraft 1/4 inch jack socket. Standard 3 way toggle switch. All wired to 50’s wiring this is the must have combination for any les Paul guitar. 50’s wiring is often considered the best option for a Double humbucker guitars because it preserves clarity and dynamics as you roll the volume down. In this wiring scheme, the tone control is connected to the output of the volume pot rather than the input, which means high frequencies are retained instead of being bled off. As a result, the guitar stays brighter and more articulate at lower volume settings, with less muddiness and more usable sweep on the controls. This makes it especially effective for players who rely on the volume knob for cleanup and expressive control-one of the reasons it became a hallmark of vintage Gibson Les Paul tones.
